Finn Berg

WHEN DID YOU START BIATHLON?  I have done biathlon for a total of four years.

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THE SPORT?  I got inspired to this sport because I liked the sound of both shooting and skiing. I also enjoyed the fact it is an individual and not a team sport, I also tried hockey and rugby and none were as appealing as Biathlon.

WHAT MAKES BIATHLON FUN FOR YOU?  To me, biathlon is fun in two ways. I enjoy the people I train with and I like to race with older kids to prove that I can keep up or even beat them.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE CBR? I chose CBR because it's a group not only focusing on recreation but on racing as well and the fact I got to stay with Airat and my friends.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE TRAINING /CAMP? WHY?  The most memorable moment was the first time I got to shoot a .22 at Steve Johnson range, because I was not used to shooting it.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE COMPETITION/RACE?  The most memorable race I had was in Hinton and it was the first race I ever did with a .22.

DO YOU THINK THE GIRLS ARE BETTER SHOOTERS THAN THE BOYS :-)? No, I think the gender of you makes no difference to how well you shoot.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RACE FORMAT?  My favourite race format is either Mass Start or Individual.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS IN BIATHLON?  My goal is to make it to the Olympics.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE BIATHLETE AND WHY?  Ole Einar Bjorndalen

IF YOU COULD CHANGE THE RULES OF BIATHLON WHAT WOULD IT BE?  If I could change one rule in biathlon it would be that every race has penalty loops and not time penalties.
